Body Peace Workplaces are about a culture where everyone can proactively develop strong mental health, based on a happy relationship with body, food and movement.
Eating disorders are rising and currently impact 1 in 10 Australians. They are a set of widespread illnesses shrouded in stigma and shame — deeply painful not only for the person experiencing an eating disorder, but for their parents, families, friends, partners and other loved ones.
It takes a village to shift this, and the workplace is part of it. The good news is, workplaces that enable people with eating disorders and their carers to participate in treatment can help people recover and thrive.
The Body Peace Workplaces program is based on leading evidence, including the global psychosocial safety standard ISO 45003:2021. Our team of educators, thought leaders, clinicians and advocates will work with you to develop work practices that promote wellbeing habits and curb the harms of eating disorders.
