Eating disorders are serious mental illnesses impacting 1 in 10 Aussies. Diet culture and unrealistic body ideals have a lot to answer for.

90 minutes, five comedians, zero weird fat-shaming or diet jokes: join Rhys Nicholson and friends to F off eating disorders. And they’re pretty good friends – the comedians and venue are all volunteering their participation, so the full amount of ticket sales go to EDV. The all-star line up includes:

This show supports Eating Disorders Victoria’s campaign Write the Next Chapter: Creatives for Recovery. 100% of funds raised will help them provide life-changing eating disorder care for free!

  • Comedy Republic Theatre – Wurundjeri Country, Level 1, 231 Bourke St, Melbourne VIC.  See venue accessibility info.
  • Suitable for ages 16+
  • Ticket includes a complementary glass of sparkling or soft drink, and some nibbles. Other drinks will be at bar prices.
  • Ticket price is $100, with the option to add on a purchase of EDV’s exclusive ‘End Diet Culture’ caps (embroidered by a Melbourne comedian!)
