How can you report a Child Safety concern?

What happens when you make a complaint?
EDV focuses on understanding and resolving the issue in a timely manner. Throughout the process you can expect us to be courteous and respect any confidentiality requests, including in relation to any of our staff or volunteers.
We will first acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days.
In the meantime, we will review your complaint and gather relevant information. We will provide a full response within 15 business days, outlining our findings and action. We will always let you know if we need more time to respond appropriately.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you can request a review by senior management.
If your complaint is still not resolved, you can refer to an external body such as the Health Complaints Commissioner.
If you are concerned about a child’s safety, please contact Child Protection in the area the child lives.
If you believe someone is in immediate danger, call 000.
